This is more than inspirational. I am a completely able person who was lucky enought to be born without any disabilities. However, my father has not been present in my life. This inspires me to know that people are capable of true love even when I never knew a father's love like Rick has. It also makes me exceptionally sad because I wish I had that kind of sacrifice & love from my own father. But with my own children I know that I CAN

Lets leave God and anything else out of the picture pls to learn and give respect to the one in the video. I believe god and dick do not want to see us arguing about religion because it is total disrespect to both if u are doing so.

Brock, whether or not you feel any religious connection is your own experience-certainly its no one's place to suggest to anyone else how they should be affected by a powerful story like this. The point is that people are affected, isnt it? Choose to reflect upon that however it suits your own life/spirituality.While Ricky is certainly blessed to have an amazing father like Dick, I think we should also reflect on how different Dick's life would have been without an amazing son like Rick.
