The scanner-light moves back pretty quickly at the end, and because the scanner is on its side, it's unbalanced, that's why it vibrates on the desk.

Hee hee! I knew it! I was just watching a video of a stepper motor being demonstrated, and thought... I'll bet someone, somewhere, has a video of one playing music. And here we go!What's that awful chair-legs-scraping-floor sort of sound at the end?
