There was a really interesting 1998 documentary about Helen from the National Film Board (NFB) of Canada entitled "Desperately Seeking Helen." Has anyone seen this? It is unfortunately not available from the NFB website. Which documentary is this from?

You're thinking of another actress, Nadira, who was a "Baghdadi" Jew as they are known in Mumbai.

This is some skewed info. Vyjayanthimala was in more demand because she could both act and dance. Helen was only a dancer and appeared sporatically in dance sequences. He was making Helen out to be the #1 star when she wasn't.BTW Bollywood movies aren't that long.
