to 18Asschensukar18: I'd say your history teacher is obviously way too young to remember Vietnam. he's just spouting propaganda and students of today lap it up without thinking. in my high school days in the late '60s, we were taught to QUESTION AUTHORITY! for your informatiion, the blackhawk is post vietnam. there was a gunship using the DC 3 (C 47) that had several high powered machine guns on both sides that was nicknamed 'puff the magic dragon'. don't believe me: look it up!

This is definitely one of those songs, that we as adults can always relate too and remember. We should never let go of our "inner" child, but embrace it with songs like this! What an awesome group, Peter, Paul and Mary.

How old is Mary? Why she's acting like a teenage lady? |
