Galloway is masterful, he reflected the reporter's attempt to invoke mourning families & reminds her that there's a history to this conflict beyond her report."You don't give a damn, you don't give a damn, you don't even know about the Palestinian famiies!"I come across this frequently when I debate people I disagree with about war. There's is no acknowledgement of the violent recent histories. Those people aren't given a face, they're just given a name, distorted & disingenous.

"Perhaps lars will contact Dundee and get him to reply to my posts! Much appreciated."Err ??

Well here's a random one for you to consider.....perhaps lieberman will still get on the ticket....something will "happen" that causes a "no fault no blame" withdrawal of Palin and lieberman joins the ticket late in the day....abstract I know but its been a strange year in politics!!

idk if i would take that wager. No one ever knows how American politics will turn out. During the Cold War, the Russians always said they couldnt ever figure out what America was going to do. How could America go from a Carter to a Reagan. Then just last year this time, i thought Hillary was going to be the nominee. The 3 weeks ago no one would ahve even heard of Sarah Palin. So i probably wouldnt take that bet.

Too bad there's nowhere we can place a wager ...if mccain wins of course he'll get his 30 pieces but if that does not happen then he's toast!! I guess only time will tell who's right and who's wrong!

Dundee, how many people run as independants and win? And Lieberman was able to do so. He will be in for a long time.
Dundee1961 (September 5, 2008 at 1:40 am)
He only ran as an independent because he was defeated for the Democratic nomination in Connecticut ....and I respectfully disagree on "as long as he wants to be"....his despicable janus face last night showed his true colors ...he lost Gore the previous election and will never be elected to office again...in my opinion.

Dundee, Joe Lieberman ran for the senate as an independant when the Democrats threw him out of the party. Liberman won as an independant. He is going to be in politics as long as he wants to be.

Actually I disagree completely on this one ...I have no doubt that israel will be the first govt. in the ME to launch a nuke.... |
