He has such a lovely voice!

You obviously didn't listen very closely...his enunciation is excellent and no problems w/ intonation let alone pronunciation....sad that people who have no real ear can just make ridiculous comments w/o any real understanding of what they're hearing...

Ravishing voice. My vocal teacher introduced me to Gérard Lesne and I was blown away by it.

Grandissimo!!! Gerard sei il miglior controtenore in circolazione!!!

Well, granted that the most frequent word was salve in the first part, it's only a given that s is the one to be most heard. I heard all his consonants just fine. Plus I think it's more about his musical interpretation and voice quality which fits perfectly with the style of that period.

WHOOPS! When I loaded the page, my cursor had accidently lead itself to the one-star marking... I'm so sorry!Anyways, this is a wonderful performance. I love Gerard Lesne's singing. I've never heard of Bassini before, however - I'll look him up.

Beaucoup de finesse et de sensibilité. Mais Lesne manque un peu de puissance vocale. Très beau malgré tout! |
