The Olympic torch relay was described today by Qu Yingpu as the 'highest symbol for the Olympic spirit' - a symbol which dates from the 1936 Nazi Olympics in Berlin. The torch was carried through London by a succession of apolitical scabs, surrounded by three rings of thugs.The Torchbearer's Manifesto* We choose not to care that the people of China and its colonies are not free to form independent trade unions* We choose not to care that that Chinese women and children are locked in firetraps and paid a pittance to fill the pockets of the political and military elite* We choose not to care about the exploitation of rural labourers, made to work for little or no pay in unsafe conditions* We choose not to care that Chinese people are subject to illegal and arbitrary detention and torture, forced 'confessions' and execution after denial of trial by an independent judiciary.

You are a heartless lacking compassion. If your sisters, brothers, mother, father and your whole family members are Tibetans would you burn them too. A chinese with a western name should not make any thread. Are you too ashame of your chinese name. I am also from the US and would like to meet you show I can show you some compassion. Boycott London 2010!! The Brits have been the BIGGEST imperialists in the history of the world. Clearly the biggest hypocrits too!!Remember the Brits treated Tibetans like slaves in the early 20th century!!

I agree but Gordon Brown did refuse to hold the torch! Not enough but the message is starting to hit the politicians now as well.
