i've seen in at least 10 times; one of my favorite films; it really all doesn't completely add up, as most time travel movies don't, and that's one great thing about it; since it's a paradox, you keep thinking and imagining, trying to fix it, even when you can't; but the thought process drives your own mind

The "versions" you're talking about is merely up to opinion. This movie was never EXACTLY explained and can be interpreted in multiple ways. For some, its about time travel, for others (like me), it's simply saying maying things at once about schizophrenia. :)

Donnie chooses to die at the end of the film, though it's not apparent whether or not it was for the sake of "ending a cycle".Pretty good movie, ultimately very sad.

I like your version far better than the one on wiki :)I saw the director's cut and found it to be a letdown - and this song seemed to be sped up on it! So I went out and bought the real version of the movie instead.
