lol yea the apparent "up and down on the gas while acc" is the rev limiter you can only go so high on the tachometer before the car says no more and pops you back down a couple revs. no one likes a blown engine. so contrary to what you may have thought (bmwm3e9v8)..the man was indeed stepping and holding the gas, hence the rev limiter kicking in
