women should submit to their husbands, as husbands should look after their wives. And when wives have the humility to do so and husbands put in the effort to do so, it's a beautiful thing. As far as slavery is concerned, the Bible does not approve of slavery, it simply tells people in slavery not to strive against their masters, but to display the glory of God in their character by the way they act towards their masters, if you disagree, get me the precise scripture that approves of slavery.

Suuuuure it teachs so beautiful things, such as burning alive those who dont take your dogmas, censoring freethinkers, taking elections for others (not allowing abortion), hidding pedophile priests. So you can leave your lamb speech for 6 years old kids that doesnt know what has religion justified throughout history. Sorry for my english.

Yet this was about 120 years (maximum) before the Flood (Genesis 6:3). So God was still patient, allowing time for repentance and change (1 Peter 3:20). God even called Noah to be a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5), yet people still refused to listen and continued to murder, rape, and so on.The moral of "Love your enemy" is not taught by the world but by the Bible. The world teaches "get revenge, its only fair" and justify you to get pay-back for any wrong. The Bible teaches love.

Lets see what brought such a judgment on the people before the Flood: Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5).What a strong statement! Every intention and thought was evil all the time. Imagine the murders, rapes, thefts, child sacrifices, cannibalism, and so on. This was happening continually.

Firstly, not I don't pick and choose by not acting upon Old Testament law, as we are no longer under Old Testament law, but New Testament.Secondly, God is often attacked for killing all the innocent people and even children in the Flood. But judging Scripture by Scripture, we read that no one is truly innocent (Romans 3:23) and all will die eventually anyway—a repercussion of our own actions.

Would you stone someone for saying something bad about God/ Jesus?Or do you mean you pick and choose the morals from the bible that go with your life style? Your morals come from the same place that mine do. You have gone back through the bible and selected parts of it that go with your claim and 'forget' the pain that the bible also says.Do you believe that if many people do wrong, they should be drowned in a mass flood? If so, that sounds pretty unmoral to me.
