i would think an artist such as don mcclean would be open to "artistic license" even in the interpretation of what a song means... put into subjective view... example of colors changing view... let us love one another..

I first heard this song aged sixteen and understood it to be about me.. I cried. Today I realise it is about being understood and misunderstood and still I cry. A beautiful song x

I LOVE this song. My dad was an artist who died 3 yrs ago. My dad was a beautifull, sensetive man. He's 3 yr anniversary is on Thanksgiving this year. I miss him sooo. LOVE YOU DAD. Rest in Peace.

The only record my father ever owned was this one, with castles in the air on the other side.They will both be played at my fathers funeral this thursday(13/11/08). |
