Yeap. I was thinking about 150 psi ought to do it. But this guy was lucky. If the failure had been facing up, he could have pieces of tire in his arm and maybe be deaf in one ear. I'm an ex tire fitter and we used to have trouble with the Dunlop TT100 bike tyres. They were hard to seat onto the older style wheel rims, so I had one up to nearly 120 just to get it to pop into place. There's a story in the trade of a fitter being killed when he left a tractor tire inflating, then went back!!

ya, well you should see the other version I have....... its edited and not doing well... lol. that lil 160 psi was cause you couldnt read the gauge. BTW, technically, any splice is an edit also. I was using a digital still camera (canon G6) to record the video. It can only record for a few mins at a time. Thanks for being anal.

have always wondered at what pressure it would take over the max to make tire explode. that being said i was never stupid enough to sit next to one and do that- dude was lucky |
