The Platters should be honored for what they did. In the 1950's when black artists had to leave thru the kitchen and dress in the restroom they were selling millions of recordings and selling out concerts. These 5 young people broke down barriers and were loved by whites as well as blacks...They opened the doors for many other black artists.
