I agree. You see.. my Linux story is- my hard drive failed. I brought it to the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at my school, where I paid them $130 to replace the HDD and reinstall Windows+drivers+my applications. Not even 2 months later, the HDD failed again. Since the labor was out of warranty, OIT said they would give me the new HDD for free, but charge $100 to do all the work again. I said "forget it," picked up a Linux disk, and had a really good time working with it like a puzzle.

liniix is also NOT an easy OS. dont expect every thing to work on a dime you need to know what your doing...or at least be willing to spend alot of time on it to learn...work through it...it worth it
