A short CG animation project a friend of mine ( http://www.mechmaster.co.uk/ ) worked on, based on a design I created a few years back ( http://promus-kaa.deviantart.c... ) and directed by myself.But that's just the OFFICIAL story. In "reality," this footage was recently uncovered near a destroyed factory complex, and was originally filmed in 1882. Digitally-remastered and colourised, this shocking silent footage of what looks to be some kind of steam-powered killing machine may be too intense for some audiences. Let us hope that no one else suffered the same fate as the poor individual who ventured into that supposedly-abandoned industrial complex to shoot this footage.The original Victorian-ised "black and white" footage can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... Coal is a fossil fuel.When a steam locomotive begins a new stage of "firing," or burning more coal to produce more energy, the smoke coming out of the engine's stack is black/dark grey as a result.

Not scary! Damn, i find that design far more creepy and unnerving than the newer designs. There's just something more real and raw industrial looking about it, it looks dangerous.Nice work, great design.
