Gee if I was an oilman I'd like to introduce a tax so that I could sell less oil for more profit. Anyone disagree with that logic? Perhaps it's the oilmen who are after the global warming tax. I'm sure they don't want to lose their power by competing with independent investor backed renewable energy systems.

Yep, and why no large scale development of alternative energy sources? There's lots of tech waiting. In Australia the government has blocked many windfarms that investors want to develop right now. Total scam. Check out the FreeGlobalEnergy channel

Excellent piece of propaganda. So while you're all starving plants of carbon dioxide, the big corporations continue dumping toxic waste into the environment, grabbing land from small farmers, pushing GMO. And where will all the Carbon Tax go? To the rich international bankers who want to own the world, and use it to fund a one world government. Twenty feet, 23 inches is the acurate prediction. Those nice politicians said Saddam had WMDs, but you can trust them on Global Warming?

that is when we started carring and doing good to the Earth and started massivley using clean power sources. then India and China started to massivley increase in growth start using cheap (for now) dirty energies. now we are getting screwed again.

In the end if we dont change things we are all fucked! And it is because of all the ignorant dumbasses that nothing is changing. I just hope all the ignorant dumbasses die soon so they stop slowing down change. And if that doesnt happen then if we find another hospitable planet we should leave the dumbasses to die and pay the ultimate price for the loss of our planet!

regardless if it is warming or cooling it wont do any good for the enviornment, and it is warming not cooling. This is the process... first the earth warms because of an increase in greenhouse gasses, then ice begins to melt, then the icemelt begins to change the ocean currents(all while extinctions and great losses of animal life occurs), currents shift thus changine the worlds climate possibly causing an iceage or a global heatbox(or afew non benificial possibilities).
