Yeah, frankly JB is the core or anchor of the show. Without her i doubt very much if the show would hold the fan base that it does. Saldy tho in season 5 now, her character while still acted well, has lost all her credibility as a responsible person or even respectable person in her personal life (her characters, not JBs RL).

Totally agree!I think Jennifer Beals is sooo good portraying Bette. She deserves some recognition and some more awards and when the show ends(hope in a couple of years) she must get another great role to show the world how great she is as an actress and also as a human being

Gay Talese is the beginning of the end of truth in journalism. Although it wasn't his intent, it was the effect. Now the "new journalism" is a swirling mess of lies and damned lies and massive omissions, interspersed with emotional propaganda and ground into a propagated line of repetition to drive the mind control and deception deep into the publics psyche.

The L Word segment starts at the 35 minute mark. The show is more substantive than any other L Word interview I've seen. It furthers my admiration of Jennifer Beals, who, again, takes the opportunity to discuss her desire to help end the legal/social discrimination of gay people. I firmly believe that she is one of the most underrated screen actors. Her portrayal of Bette Porter is quite authentic and compelling. I hope this series leads to greater recognition of her immense talents.
