Very important couple of vids there, thanks for them. I help out at an eco village in NZ and will soon be moving there. Everyone there practices permaculture and you would not believe how successful it has been - amazing! Such an exciting subject. Bill Mollison is the MAN!!

I always hated apartments, and stuff like that was the reason why. They'd come over and chop down a tree for no reason, spray the place with bug spray when there weren't any bugs around..just idiots. no more of that stuff for me. dboy

My apartment complex made me get rid of my patio garden.. they called it "debris" and gave me 3 days to get rid of it or else I would get a fee. :(

For kalo(taro) you plant the huli, not seeds or roots. The corm grows downward in the soil. That is cooked and, if you want, pounded into poi. The lau(leaves) are steamed to make a better version of spinach.
