Nice oven. I made 1 and bought 2 Glbl Sun Ovens I use all three. The one I made doesn't get as hot...about 220 F tops, so I use it for all day stuff like beans or large baked potatoes or steel cut oats. I use the factory ones for more cloudy days essentially. What I discovered is that the angle of the panels is CRITICAL. Black, covered pots are also very important. I rinse my dishes in very hot water which I heat up in the sun ovens when I am not otherwise using one, which is almost always.

I think this is very interesting, I wonder if something else besides a plastic bag could be used because I can't always find them. I didn't realize the temperatures went so high. Chicken probably would be safe in this if the parts usd were flattened. Thank you for posting. Well done! (Please excuse the pun!)
