I just read that this douchebag worked for Top Chef judge Tom Colocchio at one of his restaurants! Wtf?? I wasted my time watching that season of the show! Ilan definately didn't deserve Top Chef title for a couple reasons, but seeing now he was in with Chef Tom makes this show and the Top Chef title nothing in the culinary world. Go back to cooking school Ilan and learn to serve up more then just the Spanish crap you offer! Your the Top Joke!

Marcel lost due to arrogance alone Undivided21, he had superior chef skills, especially when taking his age into account. His down fall again was ego, if he did not allow himself to become THE most contestant he would have prevailed. Mikie was a CIA grad, I can't believe how slack he was, the guy just seemed totally baked out of his mind the whole competition, I'm mean he reminded me of Sean Penn in Fast Times @ Ridgemont High, he was stupid & did'nt give a shit...

After watching TC2 repeat I thought it was interesting for Tom Colicchio to basically say that Ilan has won Top Chef but Marcel will be the best chef in the long run.Ilan basically did not have the handicap of that slob Mike,what a back stabber, He should have let Mike do the washing up.Do the stupid people not realise that every reapeat of the show will haunt them and show how flawed they are.
