We have a one party system. Wasn't it odd that Kerry came out ahead in the primaries from nowhere in 2003?Obama was picked because people thought he was someone Republicans wouldn't pre-select (Clinton). But let's face it. It's still a chess game. I doubt Bush will hand over the massive powers he's collected for his office to just anyone (or anyone at all).Yes, I'm afraid. It's been almost a full generation since we've had a federal "popularist" election.

I agree with Genessender...Kerry was absolutely limp over the reports of voter scandals in 2004. Only guys like Kucinich and Ron Paul ever have the balls to say anything truly groundbreaking...and unfortunately they aren't the ones the media likes to listen to. It's absolutely absurd that there is NO WAY to verify the vote totals with electronic voting machines. But let's just talk about how much we love freedom so much more than everyone else in the world.

Where the hell are the Dems on this? Where the hell is the Obama campaign? Where the hell is law enforcement? We've known that votes have been hacked in U.S. elections since 2000; why has there been so little response?
