Following up the comments on the lightness of the keys, these need to be reasonably "heavy". I have an old Bechstein Model A and, as is typical for an old piano, the keys are excessively light. This is not a good thing.

it is ridiculous to debate who is 'better" or the "best". Would you say a sunrise is better than a sunset? Enjoy them both!

Richter is the master... Argerich was a child prodigy, but I wouldnt say she was better than Richter. Horowitz is beyond my knowledge. Some people seem to understand his music, while I dont, at least yet. You cannot say anyone is better than Richter.

I actually don't think that sexuality really relates to music. By that i mean it never seems to come across that a composer or performer is gay. Just wondering if you can explain your comment or expand on it, as the opinion stated differs so much from mine |
