Look up sea level history. How much higher and lower has the ocean been? You believe we can make the earth have the sea level WE demand of it?THAT'S Anthropocentrism at it's best!!

look who can't read. i said "there will never be too much CO2", not "enough CO2". put down the bong and focus! LIKE I SAID, relying on the liberal whack jobs, or false experts will only make you less informed. they just peddle fear to sell they're dumb little books to morons like you. i smell a filthy old hippie.take a bath with soap, then do your own research. with all the expert opinions on both sides of the argument, you can only trust common sense. then you will see who is full of shit.
ReduceGHGs (October 5, 2008 at 5:09 pm)
There will never be enough CO2? Where do you get that idea. Is your opinion/analysis better than that of those that have the training and experience to understand this extremely complex science? You are an expert? How's that? What make your opinion more reliable?I recommend you read the following article and get informed.Google...CO2 Pollution and Global Warming: When does carbon dioxide becomeRead, learn, grow, and contribute.Or, remain in denial and ignorance.
smolanchad (October 5, 2008 at 4:37 pm)
there will never be too much CO2. you have to understand the rate in witch plants consume it. the earth's, and man's CO2 production could be 4 or 5 times higher and the only effect would larger fruit, faster growing forests, and crops, more wildlife, and so on. i don't need to read what the false experts say, i am an expert. most of our problems come from these so called experts.buy your own CO2 testing equipment. you'll see the atmospheric levels are as low as they can be. about 300-500 ppm.
ReduceGHGs (October 5, 2008 at 1:41 am)
CO2 is good? You bet cha! O2 is also good but too much a good thing can kill us.How about water? Can you think of any examples where too much water was deadly or where too little was just as deadly? No, the planet isn't going anywhere but there's one ignorant way to increase the odds of shortening our stay; that's to continue to degrade the only habitat that can sustain us.Read what the experts have to say.Google...Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wikipedia
smolanchad (October 4, 2008 at 4:34 am)
sorry stupid, CO2 is good, not bad. this planet is not going anywhere. it's been doing it's thing for a long long time, and doesn't need your help. if you want to reduce CO2 just stop breathing.
Forrelito (October 3, 2008 at 10:15 pm)
I couldn't even finish this vid. I mean, this is the same kind of half-truths and lies we've been hearing for years! Look at REAL facts before you believe in this psuedo-science, look at real numbers and use f-ing common sense. There are REAL enviromental problems in this world that we need to take care of. This "global warming" isn't on of them.

Compare the mass of annually produced food and annually produced ethanol. And where would you get the meat from? Not by stopping ethanol production...
GeorgeDorn00023 (September 28, 2008 at 2:47 pm)
The grain required to fill the petrol tank of a Range Rover with ethanol is sufficient to feed one person per year. Assuming the petrol tank is refilled every two weeks, the amount of grain required would feed a hungry African village for a year.Much of the fuel that Europeans use will be imported from Brazil, where the Amazon is being burned to plant more sugar and soybeans, and Southeast Asia, where oil palm plantations are destroying the rainforest habitat of many species. 'a tiny bit'?
SaunaFinland (September 27, 2008 at 10:08 pm)
Only a tiny bit of our "farmable" lands are for biofuels. The food wouldnt be enough anyway. It would be much better with only 2-3 billion people on earth (i dont suggest killing any). |
