The entire performance of this tour de force piece of gem was nearly impeccable except for the build up to the crescendo High C at the end which I had hoped he would hit with more resonance and sustain for a more dramatic climax as the late great Pavarotti would! Otherwise I had never heard of this artist before. The deep resonance of his tenor throughout the piece was truly dramatic and a thing of great beauty to behold! Perhaps one of the 5 greatest tenors I've ever heard! Standing Ovation!!!

MARIO is a true tenor. Tenors nowadays are rather baritones-like, except for JUAN DIEGO FLOREZ or ROBERTO ALAGNA..Too much force, too little "tesitura"

No, actually it was Corelli that bit her. But, he was still a nice guy, lol.

yeah. it was Di Stefano who had a bad temper. he once bit Brigit Nilsson's neck on stage because she held a note longer than him. Corelli was definitely the nice one.

Where did you hear he had a bad temper? That just isn't true. Corelli was actually a real sweetheart and loved by all his peers.

That is one of the most absurd comments on youtube.
