Because it's nostalgic and old school. It has a charm that is destroyed when trying to make it sound "better". I always loved the original Mega Man series, and the music is part of the deal. It brings back good ol' memories, and frankly, the original soundtracks sounds extremely cool even today. They don't make game music the way they used to anymore. Hehehe.

I hate fighting Charge and Crystal Man. Every other boss, I can handle with ease, but those two get on my nerves...especially Crystal.Also, I prefer the remixed music more. Plenty of vids with the old music up here.
