In America we use the word tire. In British English, they spell it tyre. I can't believe some of you folks are so idiotic as to give a 13 year old several thumbs down because their country spells words differently.

Yesterday I had a flat on the freeway...called my ex and he said he and my son were on their way. It was hot so I sat outside my car drinking a bottled water and eating a box of Pringles. Just about 15 min. later my ex and son show up...my son says,"Do you have a donut?" I couldn't understand WHY he needed a donut right then when I needed my flat fixed, so I politely said, "No, but you are welcome to have some Pringles"...little did I know a donut was another word for "spare tire"! LOL!
