In their early years they did connect with R&Baudiences: Grazing In The Grass, Going In Circles (originally the B side to "Let Yourself Go") and Love Or Let Me Be Lonely. "I Really Hope You Do" (The B side to Grazing In The Grass found an audience in the R&B arena. The Friends' Floyd Butler wrote the Tavares' hit "Check It Out". Floyd Butler unfortunately has passed on but Harry Elston still keeps the group alive today.

I had this album on cassette when I was a kid, but I remembered it as a 5th Dimension album. Thanks for setting me straight. I'm not surprised at great sound from a VPI/Grado/ARC rig, but I'm amazed at how much of that analog goodness comes through on a YouTube video through my PC speakers!
