I'm proably nit-picking, but Elaine Page's voice is too chrystal-clear compared to Piaf's raw, vulgar, almost yelling power. Piaf began as a street singer, and always retained the basic strength that this required. (I love Piaf's voice.) That being said, I would be surprised if it were the aim of Page to imitate the voice. It would be a mistake. It's a nice version of the song.

although Elaine is amazing, I wish she did it in a french accent.

it is Piaf's Hymn a l'amour sung in Englishit's even more amazing sung by Piaf in French.

oh! This is hymne a l'amour, isn't it? Obviously in English. Sorry, I'm only 15, and have just become a Piaf fan.
