Yeh I agree Hunter wouldnt like to have been thought of as frail in anyway, he was always a machoistic guy like his hero Hemingway.

I screamed "Hemmingway!" when I saw Charlie asked the question. You should watch the documentaries about HST out there now.

I think in the end Hunter decided that he was getting to be too fragile. I'm just a fan, but I know what he wrote about how he lived. Since he couldn't continue on his gonzo path, that was it. Just 'fuck it, I'm done'. His choice, really...

I think the way Hunter S. Thompson went out is the same way he lived his life.He went out with a bang, literally. He lived on the razors edge his whole life; almost had a nietzsche-like perspective on life, religion, and the religous.Killing himself may seem cowardly to some, but I think it was his last "fuck you" to life, structure, and those who join the flock. He had nothing else left for us so he decided to leave the stage.

You know absolutly nothing about how he killed himself do you? He did not call his wife on the phone at all, she had left early in the morning because of an argument they had, though his son and grandson were in the house. The last line u wrote definetly relfects your intellect. "That the biggest moron rebels will death cult forver" You are truely degrading, and quite frankly don't deserve to be alive because there are enough inbred retards in this world.
