your absoutly wrong. Vtec controles lift and duration. The valver arent variable. Oil pressure pushes over a pin in the higher RPM's and creats a longer duration and bigger lift. Where as vvt-i or dual vvti like my camry has, it doesnt control lift. IT constantly varies the intake and exhause valves. vvti makes more torque and HP through out the rpm band. Hondas engines are almost dead in the lower rpm's untill vtec kicks in

Really up to you. If you like it get it. Just know its not the best car for high power performance unless your willing to spend an extra 4-10 grand on top of that 8 grand your about to pay. For stock SC its a good daily rare car. More rare then a supra.

Some guy is selling me an original 1999 Toyota Solara TRD! I'm really considering buying it because he's a family man now and doesn't need it. I couldn't believe my eyes it was legit and not an imitation. Supercharged and everything. He's selling it for $8800 should I go for it?

if i was using google, i wouldve looked up toyota. but i admitted, as i do now, i dont know jack about toyotas.i did, however, have to check if it was 75 or 76 that GM came out with it. that i used google for. people will call you out for the smallest inaccuracies.and i was saying all that in response to the honda kid who was saying "youre just jealous we came out with v-tec first", not to you. |
