Oh yeah! (in a way, I am glad it is a long time since I saw it, so I look forward to see it!) Exept 2001, the last Kubrick I saw was Barry Lyndon, lovely! Al his films are different subjets or so, but no doubt, it is easy to see who made them! Think I will bye the collection. (I allso love the old Pink Panther series, The James Bond series, Chaplin..) Uhh, and Ed Wood! So bad it is wonderful :) hehe (for ex "Plan nine from outher space", the best title ever, hehe) Have a nice weekend man

Foreshadowed when Floyd is sitting in his seat during the ride to the Torus; on the headrest video screen in front of him are two women talking in the exact position of Poole and Bowman in the pod.

There are several reason why the spaceship and the ring-space-station moves calmly. It apears bigger, it moves together with the waltz. It cannot be matched, even with modern CGI`s. And why should it move quicker? That makes no sense.. Every element in this film is handled by the master himself.

Stanley Kubrick, the greatest moviemaker ever. I love all of his work, but 2001 is my favuorite, of all films ever made. I liked it from the first time I saw it, but it gets better and better every time I see it. It gives me a good feeling. Thank you Stanley :)
