For me, the most beautiful F1 of ever, this Williams FW07.

Those FW07's were a cool car. This was the first year I really got into F1. Alan Jones was a great driver, he should have won it in 81 if he hadn't put it into the wall a couple of times unnecessarily. If he hadn't pulled out at the end of 81 I'm sure he'd have won the championship again in 82, instead of Rosberg.

Yet that can become contentious when the teammates ambitions are similar to Schumi's. Take for instance the two years at McLaren where Prost and Senna were teammates. Although Schumi did find a compatible teammate with Rubens, and yet Rubens left to explore his fading ambition to be champion.

When you have MS, you just randomly pick some driver to fit in the second car...doesn't really matter.........

Schumi and Williams combination would have been ideal for domination, but it's hard to imagine how well things would have gone when you have Schumi teammates with Damon, Jacques, J.P., or even his brother Ralf.

Frank. Williams was so so so stupid not sign with MS, otherwise the whole 1990s and the first half of 2000s would be all his. |
