I work in health care and most doctors agree med schools train you as if you were going to become a research scientist. They admit severe overkill. And despite all that education malpractice still occurs. Granted a brain surgeon for example needs exceptional training. Not so for so many other common ills.

xxx4:"I get a 4.0 gpa doctor who went to college for 15 years all to diagnose a silly ear infection or set a bone. It's overkill"When they misdiagnose the tumor in your ear causing you the "silly" infection as something simple, you will run as fast as you can to a lawyer to sue for malpractice.Don't say you won't...because we all know better.

The doctor union keeps salaries high by making it difficult to become a doctor. Thank you A.M.A.! I appreciate the fact I get a 4.0 gpa doctor who went to college for 15 years all to diagnose a silly ear infection or set a bone. It's overkill. Double the number of doctors and all associated medical services and diagnostics and watch the unit price of health care fall in half while creating jobs. Why wont this happen? Doctors lobby. This keeps the government out of any anti-trust investigations.

You are ONLY entitled to the fruits of your labour NOTHING more, and Healthcare is FAR from free.

I love our country, don't get me wrong, but our sense of entitlement is going to fuck us in the ass and not stop. I am converting at least half of my money to gold and silver and I refuse to pay any taxes from now on because it's all going down the drain anyways. Ignorance is amusing that's for sure.

I can't find the comment you are replying to and I don't remember the context of that quote, so I can't defend it.About the superiority of a single payer system, though, it is like adding pilings to the foundation of a house. Yes, the more pilings the stronger the foundation, but eventually the gain is negligible. Besides, why should all the pilings in the country be under one big house. There is no right to stop anyone from making their own house.

abeu:"The problem is the USA is the home of Bullshit stats"The problem is all these foreigners trying to tell us Americans what to do instead of minding their own business and fixing their own problems. This is not your country, and you have enough of your own problems to concentrate on. We know what our problems are, and you are not doing anything to help. So go worry about you and let us worry about us.

It is even worse for the Euro they still use a one to one comparison, the Euro is $1.40 against the Dollar, and was $1.60.Same with unemployment,USA has the largest prison population in the world,so if these were counted as unemployed people,USA would have the largest unemployment in the real world. You see they fool the USA population but the markets are not fooled, they see the exchange rates of 2008 not 2000 or before, this is what is harming USA,they are told everything is great,it's not.

the more money we spend, with less or minimal taxes, the more money our gov't would have to rid our selves of our defecit

it would be better if we didnt bail out the banks. and if we do, then, the companies should indefinitly pay it back. but if we do, we are going to pay a lot more taxes, and growth, and prosperity doesn't happen, if your overlly taxed. people won't spend if they cant afford it. and it doesn't happen if, we are always out sourcing. we need to reopen our factories, to create jobs. so people will spend money. |
