Meaning he technically hasn't been elected president yet. The electoral college has the final say when they vote soon.3.If you think we really chose "evil" people on purpose, does that mean you really think we go to the polls thinking "Hm, who is the most greedy, evil idiot we could possibly elect to screw everything up?"

Our administration isn't perfect, so you can blame government all you want, even the bankers who got too greedy and needed bailing out (but then again, European countries had to bail people out, too, correct?) but do not say all of our soldiers, our friends, families, and selves are evil. That is ignorant.

I doubt he will actually be a progressive, since he still doesn't support single-payer healthcare, gay marriage, and he isn't all too serious about ending our dependence on foreign oil.

Difference between Obama and Gandhi.Gandhi: Religious pacifist who wanted to drag his nation back to pre-industrial culture.Obama: Progressive forward looking leader who knows there is a time for force and a time for peace.Neither of them is/was flawless. The difference? That Obama has his turn to try and make a change for the better now. Here's hoping he does.
