he is speaking in english, just in a different-sounding way. del toro says 'b' instead of 'v', but does it matter? no. cuz u can still understand him. besides, america isn't really known as land of the smarts anyway.

the interviewer needs to find a new profession. he says "da" and "dat" instead of "the" and "that" haha
