she looks like a deer in headlights. lol... chris cutler is a genius. and jazz is not totally spontaneous. jazz is more flexible than othere genres, but also has very planned calculated compositions in it as well.

I assume that the poster talking of "samples" meant effects. Yes it would sound a bit crappy without them but it has them and so it sounds as it does. ...interesting.I thought he had some valid points about classical composition. He was not talking about jazz.
