I thought i'd do a quick youtube search on CF and found your video. I have CF as well. I am 27 and married and lived the best life i can so far with plenty of exercise (since high school), albuterol, pulmozyne, adek, ultrase MT-20. I've been hospitalized only twice so far in my life as a young kid. The last test for my pulmonary function showed my lungs at somewhere between 89-91%. I could go on and on, but i just wanted to say keep on keeping on.Matt

CONGRATULATIONS Katy on becoming a nurse!!Dreams come true!I admire you so much!My best friend had CF & passed away in 2001 aged 16 at the time only months away from her 17th birthday! She is my hero she had a dream of becoming a Social worker and i know if she was alive now she would be doing it now!! hey katy! im a cf'er from New Zealand, and im also training to be a nurse (i think that im the only one in NZ so far). I love hearing that its possible- your video has been an inspiration to me, thanks for putting it on! Im 2 papers away from becomming a RN, and i cant wait to start nursing! do you have any tips on staying well while nursing cause i find it is really takes it toll physicaly. What area do you nurse in?

I am praying for you. Dont focus on how long the doctors say you will live. I believe you will live a long, happy life, because by all means you deserve it. Good luck, and thank you for being such an inspiration and helping find a cure. $9,000 is certainly something to be proud of!

hey katy. im a 28 year old guy from denmark. I got CF also... something in common. I just want to say that you inspire people like me. I also have a posetiv mind, and i don't let the CF get too me. If we all got a posetiv mind, like you and me, we can tell the world that CF is hurrible, but you can fight it. I also can thank my parents, for this life. So keep smiling, fight the cure. sometimes i wish i could give people like you my lungs...to breath easy. i have watched numerous people struggle to breath, and sometimes i wonder why I couldnt have gotten their suffering, they have more to do for the world then i ever have

i know how u feel. i am 13 and i have CF. what is weird is that the hospital i was born in didnt know me and my twin sis had CF till we were 8! i cant belive is survived that long without having meds, treatments, or any thing to help with my CF. my friends and family are very surportive, and without them i wouldnt be as healthy as i am now. like u and every other person out there iwth CF, CF does not affect or detremain what person we are. thx so much for this vid!
