Bey followed the original arrangement to a t, becasue she was portraying Etta in a film. Christina tried to take her favorite singers song and add her own twist to it. And Christina has set a bench mark with this vocal performance, every up and comer who attempts this song, always does the Christina arrangement.

beyonce's version is so much better. Christina' arrangement is totally over the top - the way she sings it is just crass. and she looks awful. Beyonce looks immaculate, sings with beautiful control and acts the lyrics wonderfully. B is SUCH a better performer.
