Monster Jam Anaheim January 26, 2008
Monster Jam event on January 26 2008. The rain started pouring down as the event went on, soaking the track into a whirlwind of mud. The night had some exhibition runs by CORR ( Championship Off Road Racing). They brought out Trophy Karts , Rhino Racers ,and Pro Lites. The racing course this time had the Anaheim course in a oval shaped course, where both trucks start and end side by side. Escalade and Monster Mutt Dalmation collided in the semi-finals, causing Monster Mutt to have to give up her spot in the finals. The finals came down to Escalade and Tropical Thunder, and Escalade nailed the gas out of the final turn, taking any room Tropical Thunder would have had.Freestyle showed that even the high dollar trucks can kick serious butt! Natural High went first in freestyle, doing several excellent wheelies , grinding his rear in the ground, and catching some great air. Maniac was next from Canada, aiming for the car pile and had one great sky wheely. The Patriot had a good run with a cyclone, and went all out ending with a flip. Arachnaphobia lasted much longer this time compared to two weeks ago, his freestyle run crunched up plenty running through the mud. Tropical Thunder was another who went out with a cyclone, while using the car jumps as one of his strengths. Shattered had an incredibly impressive run with huge air, all out driving, and finished with a popped tire. Monster Mutt had some unfinished business after she was denied in the semi finals. Monster Mutt Dalmation went out with big air, a huge wagging tail, and speed. The other monster truck from Canada who came down to Anaheim Monster Jam was Jurassic Attack, who's sleek design and loud antics attracted plenty of fans. A surprise appearance from Monster Jam's newest truck , Donkey Kong , thrilled the fans as Donkey Kong took to the skies with some of the biggest air of the night, and ended with a broken shock. Escalade was the next up to bat, and he hit every jump catching big air and pulling off some wheelies. Escalade ended his run with a flip, landing on the muddy arena. Grave Digger driven by Charlie Paulken definitely had the most fast paced run, hitting many of the obstacles, jumping high in the air, and finishing with a wheelie that dug into the ground. Grave Digger and Escalade tied for the win in freestyle with 29 points, but Escalade handed over the trophy to Grave Digger feeling that Grave Digger's run was worthy of Anaheim's trophy.Music credits :Breathe - ProdigyBro Hymn - Pennywise

you got the 427 part right, theres a coupla trucks out there that run them. the biggest cubic inches they're allowed to run are 572's but most of the trucks out there run 540's

427-650 cubic inch engines? There were some old school body styles there too. |
