As for how it really drives, it is the best handling car I have driven. That is pretty high praise as I have driven a McLaren F1, Bugatti EB110SS, Jaguar XJ220, F-40, 288GTO, Ford GT, Porsche GT2, Carerra GT, and many other high end exotics. If I had liked any of the above better than the W8 I would have them in the garage instead of the Vector. But the car is one of the nicest cars to drive. Also it's incredibly fast. Which says a lot for a car that is 16 years old.

Well the car is truly in storage, just in my garage. The car is run every week, just to keep things lubricated and working, but is trailered when I take her out. The display is an electroluminescent display panel out of the F117A. The HUD connection and electronic interface is from the F16. There are 4 menus to select from, each screen displays different information. One is the exterior of the car which shows any doors open, Fuel RPM and Speed, Exhaust gas temp, Boost, Trans, oil etc...

I still can't get my head around the fact that you did less than a 100 miles in that car in 8 years. That has to be somesort of record for a car that is not in storage.PS: I'm really interested in the cars gauges and electronics? Is it true they come from the stealthfighter and it has HUD's etc?Could you post some pics/vids of the instrumentation? You'd be clearing up some real supercar mythology if you did.PPS: How does it (really) drive? Compared to say a Ferrari 355?

around 10 years ago I was working as a valet at a club in Tampa, fl. A customer owned 2 Vectors within about a year. I don't remember what year they were(brand new or used) but they were incredibly cool. Most people had no idea what they were looking at. Most said they were lambos or testarossas. They just had an amazing design, interior and sound, and yes he let me drive them. Still the most rare car I have ever seen. very cool.

the sound of the car is absolutely amazing...

Depends on the condition of the car. A prestine example would run 1.2-1.4M in todays market. The key would be getting an owner to part with his car. Of all the owners, only one is willing to part with his car at this time.

WOW..I don't know how you pulled it off, but you got a W8 and thats something noone will be able to do anymore. I bet it feels pretty awesome to own that car and know that noone anywhere near you owns one or can identify it. But damn thats just breathtaking glad to see your enjoying it.
