I really appreciate all the time he sacrificed to perform for us.

Knowing that he died shortly after this performance gives me chills and tears because its so beautiful and true to the human spirit. Its a song about life... and its fruits...

Love this song with the Muppets! He cleaned it up a bit for their version.

I was fortunate enough to have seen him in concert several times, the last being just a couple months before he died. ALWAYS a great show.

What's with all this "he was blessed by God" and "he was an angel sent from God" crap? Don't demean his wonderful human gifts by attributing his accomplishments to some magical sky fairy. I hate when people do that crap.

I'm Black. I grew up as many of us kids did in a very remote part of Northen Australia. We loved him because he reenforced our tribal culture. What our elders were teaching us about our land. Gottcha John, betcha you never expected your thoughts to reach to the other side of the planet! Always love ya dude. Thanks froy2, youra legend mate.
