I was on a Missions Trip in 1996 (Summer) to a small Christian College near Nausori where we built a couple of dorms. I'm from Indiana but Fiji kept a piece of my heart. I love the people and the Islands are so beautifull too. One of the folks at the Christian college was Aratu Simmi (maybe you know?). As most of my time was spent getting my socks stolen off clothes lines and doing construction, I'd love to go back and enjoy the islands. Great to see somebody from the little area I served.

I was questioning whether to take a trip to Fiji (Vanua Levu) or Bahamas and this is a great video to really show Fiji . It seems like a dream world. I like the Segur Ross song also, it makes it more dreamy and unreal.

I used to work with some Fijians in Auckland, I would go to thier house and drink Kava, very cool people! Ma ngai chi namu!

Nausori...my home town! Thank you for posting this. I miss Fiji and its beauty...the people of Fiji, regardless of what ethnicity. We are all Fijian. Vinaka Nicole and God bless Fiji!!!

Aw, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I can't believe it's already been a year since I was there! Hopefully one day I will be able to at least "pass through" again. :)
