OMG what good memories these guys gave me back in the 80s. And they were hot as fuck too. Funny enough, I used to hang at this goth bar that played them every weekend. And they came back a year ago and i just found this out. Where the fuck have I been. They kick fucking ass. Thats all there is to it. And they always will in my heart.

I loved all the New Romatic bands because they were keeping the Dance/Rock sound of Chic and Funkadelic alive when it could have faded away. Along with the Roxy Music and Kraftwerk sound they created a music that was orginal and inspired Prince and other R&B and Funk bands to create their own Nu Wave R&B sound stateside.People would trip If me and my friends said we loved Kajagoogoo but nearly 30 years later they influenced bands like The Killers and Franz Ferdinad and N.E.R.D.

If you were lucky enough to catch Led Zep's John Paul Jones on his 1999/2000 tour for his solo album, "Zooma", you caught Nick Beggs doing some of his best work. Imagine seeing two of the greatest bassists of all time jamming freeform on stage, and generally tearing the venue down!It was so fantastic, I caught that tour 4 times, including the last night in Toronto, which happened to be my 30th birthday! Thanks for the memories!
