Eh, not really. Only one album sounded like this, and even then some things just couldn't relate, like the drumming and the bass. The relative sound sounds like Botch, but you can't say that they copied them. And if they wanted to be Botch, Redeemer and Anti Mother shows just how they pursued that.Yeah, it was very interesting to see the two relate, but it wasn't all too intentional.I'm ready now for what might be 7 thumbs down, but I know I'm right.

haha to the comments below... theres a reason why norma jean's genre is labeled as "botchcore" in my itunes.

Wow, didn't know that. That's cool. ;)Great song. I'm not too interested in Botch, but this song rocks.

@ tgoiner3: the blond on the bottom looks like a chick to me, she just has short hair.

Yep, that's because Norma Jean based 'O God, The Aftermath' after the sound of Botch's 'We Are The Romans', even hiring the same producer, engineer and mixer (Matt Bayles).

Norma Jean's album 'O God, The Aftermath' sounds exactly like this.I've been told numerous times about the relation in sound.. and being a MTB fan, I decided now was a time to check them out, and Botch sounds almost EXACTLY like NJ from the album O God.It isn't that bad.
