Yes they guessed the flight paths from previous f117 planes they watched for months and exploded a missile near the plane which cause damage and the pilot to auto eject.They didn't even directly hit the plane.

It was a luck, nothing else.....Shooting without proper radar deflection is like trying to hit a bird with stone, nay, not even a bird but eagle with stone. HEHE

yeah dumb luck they were shooting blind and randomly in to the air. there was about 10 f-117 in the air and happend to hit one. they also missed the 2 f-15's that were the escort
