My uncle witnessed a tall U.S. Army captain who died getting chopped up by one of those in Vietnam. Needless to say, that prop didn't skip a beat as it tore him to pieces.

The camera zoom compresses the apparent distance - he was about 20 feet in front of the aircraft.

My dad was a Crew Chief on a C-47 out of Maxwell AFB Montgomery, Al dring the 50's and 60's and his stories are part of my life. Thanks for sharing the comment about your Dad. God Bless!
