this is the first time ive heard this guy. Im not a very experienced jazz player/listener, but i love it. its so interesting. i must say id prefer some slower joe pass or george benson stuff but this guy is really good.

This is amazing! Pat just steams through the changes! He makes his own changes, e.g. 2:40-55 = shit hot. 3:00 is magical.patmyer1 ur a fuckin idiot, pat brought jazz back to the masses with travels and bright size life n all that, and why the fuck are you angry at fusion players???? Bitches brew made jazz accesible to the masses with its funky rocky grooves. Its people like elvis and chuck berry you should be angry at, for ensuring that jazz would never again be consdidered 'pop' music.
