Existem outros filmes bons, mas Ben-Hur se destaca pelo realismo extremo do drama e da produção, sem falar do roteiro shakespeariano!

Quando vc assisti a Ben-Hur a sensação que fica é que todos os filmes que vc assistiu antes dele, parece que não exisitiram.E nenhum filme feito depois dele conseguiu o igualar.Portanto ele é único.

The dangerous flip that Ben-Hur did during the chariot race in the movie was actually a real mistake. The producers decided to keep it in there. So, yeah, EXPL721, this IS the real deal.

the best effects are the REAL effects, like in this movie ALL is real, now hollywood needs LESS EFFECTS and much more great stories LIKE THIS ONE, astonishing picture giving the best from mr. heston mr. willer and the best of the best, MIKLOS ROSZA.

Matrix5060, as if there needed to be computer generated effects! I just don't get how you can say that about an amazing classic that was so good, it didn't even need those effects! Effects is not all that makes a good movie. In fact, it's not that important compared to other things. Themes, soundtrack, acting, and quotes are important, too. I'm not bashing you in any way, but it's not right to compare a beautiful classic with some modern movie that came out in our age of limitless technology.
