First off I don't like the Chinese govt, but I don't have anything against the people or the country.If you were paying any attention to the video you should already know that most of the factories were put up by western countries and yes US is included.I guess I shouldn't be surprised that so many factories put up in China were from the West. Probably a no brainer, but they must be paying the Chinese govt pretty well in order to do this.

Fuck america. If america cared so much about pollution they would have accepted the kyoto protocol which they rejected when they were the leading polluters. And the fact that china JUST surpassed them means that US for a long time was polluting more than a country that has 1 billion ppl more than it. Do you really expect 1.3 billion ppl to produce less carbon than .3 billion like the US?? Look at PER CAPITA figures and stop pointing your finger cuz YOU r the greatest polluters in the world!

Most of the ppl posting are morons. (ie. the ones who praise US and slam China.) Go look at the figures for pollution PER CAPITA. You'll find that in the US each person produces 6.7 tonnes of C02 PER CAPITA while china only produces about 1.7. PER CAPITA, US is still by far the greatest polluter. It's stupid to take the total C02 emissions of countries seing as how certain countries have a billion more ppl than others. It's a shame that US produces almost as much as 1.3 billion ppl! |
