Definitely an underrated player. As mentioned, after he blew out his knee his game changed. BTW this was featured on Ankle Breakers in the extra's!

This was 89' , around that time Harp was putting up similar numbers to Clyde. He wasn't as good but he was definitely in the same sentence. Kinda like how T-mac and Vince were to Kobe around 5-6years ago.

hey dude, ron harper was awesome back at that time, before his injuries mj even said that ron harper was the toughest player he went up against

if Harper never got hurt some things would have been different. He was on fire!!

It's easy to say that NOW, but once upon a cavalier time Harp was being compared to MikeAir, if Harp could be in the same convo as Mike...why not w/the glide? Think about it!

I'm sorry, Ron Harper is a nice player and all, but someone was a fool to put him in the same conversation as a Clyde Drexler. This is a little bit insulting to the Glide to be honest about it. If Clyde's career doesn't overlap Jordan's, he wins at least 3 MVPs.

i watched the same clips under the tape' spectacular guards of the nba' good old days.harper is definitely very smooth before injury.drex was always a little stiff to me, but he was really athletic.
